Someone drew a nautilus in timber and hung it from the sky
Hundreds of wooden fins, each one turned a few degrees from the last, spiralling up toward a round skylight. From underneath it reads like a shell, or an eye, or a staircase with no steps — depends how long you stand there. The light coming through the top washes the whole thing peach and makes the shadows between the slats look drawn on. #architecturephotography #geometry #mobilephotography
